Description
Salvador Dalí is one of the most (if not the most) iconic characters Spain has ever produced. His prolific work can be admired on the walls of some of the most important museum in the world, like the MoMA in New York, or the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid. But it is in his hometown, Figueres, where his largest collection lays as expressly wished by the artist.
The Dalí Theatre Museum in Figueres isn’t only a big collection of works, but also a piece of art in itself. The building is considered the largest piece of surrealist art in the world. Salvador Dalí himself initiated the project, a task that kept him busy during the last decades of his life. Thus, the museum mirrors his extravagant mind and surprises visitors the world over as they step into an unexpected universe.
On this tour, we’ll take you on a comfortable half-day trip to Figueres from Barcelona. The day starts at your selected pick-up location, where you’ll meet your guide before onboarding on a private minivan that will take us to what Dalí considered the centre of the world: a town with fifty-thousand souls a few miles away from the French border.
After arriving at Figueres, we’ll go straight to the Dalí Museum, where you’ll have enough time to visit the collection, Dalí’s tomb and rooms, and even an exhibition of jewels also designed by the artist. After some free-time at the museum or around the city centre, we’ll take the road back to Barcelona, while your mind tries to clear out the surreal whirl the building usual provokes.

Cancellation and amendments:
You can cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before departure time. After that, it is non-refundable. In case of force majeure or inclement weather, the tour can be cancelled or rescheduled by the Touring Pandas, and the corresponding amount will be refunded.
Make sure to arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before departure. Latecomers and no-shows don’t get a refund.

Itinerary
To start your day, our driver and guide will pick you up at your selected location in Barcelona. Be ready at the agreed pick-up time to avoid unnecessary delays.
After a scenic drive up North, you'll reach Dalí's Theatre-Museum, the largest surrealist object in the world. Get ready to wander through this maze-like museum which reflects the artist's mind.
After the museum, gain entrance to Dalí's jewels exhibition. This is a small collection of unique pieces design by the artist.
After the museum, we will take the road back to Barcelona to your selected drop-off point.
