Due to the strict cancellation policies on the Vatican Museums tickets, you can cancel your tour but the following cancellation fees will apply (based on calendar days starting at 23.59 on the day before your tour):
-Up to 15 days before the tour: 25% cancellation fee
-Between 14 and 8 days before the tour: 50% cancellation fee

The Dome is not accessible to wheelchairs and the stairs make it unsuitable for visitors with mobility issues. Animals are not allowed.

1. Meeting point: Giuly’s Café on Via Santamaura
Our meeting point is just a few meters away from the access point to the Vatican Museums. Meet us in front of Giuly’s Café, a quiet stop 5 minutes away from the Ottaviano Metro station (line B).
2. Vatican Museums
Be prepared to stroll through the corridors of the Vatican Museums surrounded by paintings, sculptures and artifacts from across the globe. From Egyptian mummies to Raphael’s frescoes, the Pope’s collection welcome visitors from all over the world.
3. Sistine Chapel
At the end of your itinerary through the Vatican Museums, you’ll reach the Sistine Chapel. Before accessing the room, your guide will prepare you to take in one of the biggest and most important work of art in the planet.
4. Square of Saint Peter
After the Sistine Chapel, your guide will lead you through a special door, the secret to skip the infamous line to access the Basilica. Thanks to this, you will skip a line that usually takes between 1 and 2 hours of waiting.
5. Saint Peter’s Basilica
Finally, be ready to explore the center of the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica, in the company of your guide. After a good dose of art at the museums, it’s time now to take in some of the best of Renaissance architecture (and yes, even more art!).

6. Access to St. Peter’s Dome (Optional Add-On)
Ready for the Top? This is your self-guided challenge! The Dome climb takes place after the guided tour concludes. Your guide will show you the way to the entrance, where you’ll start your ascent.

- Full name of every participant is required: Please input the full name of every participant in your group during checkout. The names must match those printed in your passport/ID. The staff of the Vatican Museums check every visitor’s ID, and those who don’t match the names printed on the tickets may be prevented form accessing the site. No refunds are applicable if your names haven’t been entered correctly. Please make sure to input the full names as printed on your passport with latin characters.
- Dress code. All visitors are required to wear clothes covering knees and shoulders. The staff at the entrance may prevent visitors from accessing if their outfit is not appropriate for these religious environments. In those cases, no refund is applicable as this is out of our control.
- Reaching the Vatican Museums by public transportation takes about 45min. Make sure to allow enough time to get there on time.
- All participants must access the Vatican Museums with the guide. Failing to show-up at the meeting point in time will result in losing your spot. Latecomers and no-show can’t be accommodated and are not eligible for a refund.
- Dome Access (Optional Add-On): If you book the tour with this option, the Dome climb takes place after the 3-hour guided tour and is self-guided (your guide will show you where to go).
- Physical Warning: The first part of the climb is by elevator, but to reach the very top, you must climb 320 narrow steps on foot.
- Age Policy: This climb is not recommended for children under 7 years old. All children and teens up to 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
- No cloakroom available: Please bring only small bags or backpacks. Stroller parking is available under the Basilica colonnade.
