Next, your guide will escort you past the ticket lines of the Colosseum to explore the amphitheater and unveil its fascinating history.
In addition to the Colosseum, your guide will also lead you through the breathtaking areas of the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. The Roman Forum, located in the heart of ancient Rome, stands as a testament to the rich cultural heritage of ancient Rome. Its architecture and layout reflected the grandeur and power of the Roman Empire, with impressive temples, basilicas, and government buildings lining its pathways.
Third on your day will be the Palatine Hill, the most central of Rome’s Seven Hills, where according to legend, Romulus founded the city. This is the actual spot where the history of Rome began. According to the legend, it is in this hill where Remus and Romulus were fed as babies by the capitoline wolf, and where later Romulus founded the city in the year 750 BC. Not only Romulus, but then many great emperors built their houses on this hill in the center of Rome, where we can still appreciate their remains.
